Eric Walker
Eric Walker is a judge to the district courts in Maine. He was appointed to the court by Governor Paul LePage on February 7, 2014. His appointment was confirmed by the Maine Senate, and he was sworn in by the governor on May 2, 2014.[1][2] He must be renominated and reconfirmed to serve additional terms.[3]
Education
Walker earned his undergraduate degree from Norwich University. He was awarded a J.D. from the New England School of Law.[1]
Career
Before being appointed to the district court, Walker was a supervising deputy district attorney for the counties of Waldo, Knox, Lincoln and Sagadahoc since 2008. He was responsible for all criminal matters handled by the office in district and superior court. He also handled appeals to the law court and post-conviction actions in superior court.[1]
