Campaign website
Davis' campaign website stated the following:
Re-electing me means continuing the fight to:
- Dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline by ensuring every student has access to quality education, support services, and alternatives to expulsion and zero-tolerance policies that criminalize childhood behavior
- Advance inclusive education by expanding resources for special education, English language learners, and students with unique learning needs
- Strengthen early intervention through Head Start and therapeutic services that address trauma and developmental challenges before they become crises
- Support educators through professional development, classroom resources, and policies that empower teachers to meet diverse student needs.
The school-to-prison pipeline isn't inevitable—it's a policy choice. Inclusive education isn't a luxury—it's a civil right. And lifelong learning isn't just for students—it's a responsibility for every leader committed to serving their community with excellence. I'm asking for your vote because our children deserve better. They deserve schools that nurture rather than punish, that include rather than exclude, that prepare them for success rather than failure. They deserve elected officials who never stop learning how to better serve them. The work isn't finished. Let's finish it together.
Re-electing me means continuing the fight to:
LIFELONG LEARNING:
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
Educational Commitment Beyond the Classroom
- My commitment to education extends beyond our students to myself as an elected official
- Recently completed my doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania
- Doctoral research focused on how political candidates and elected officials learn their roles
- This pursuit demonstrates that learning never stops, especially for those in positions of power
- Belief that leaders must constantly educate themselves to better serve their communities
