Landry ran in the 2012 election for New Mexico House of Representatives District 19. She ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5, 2012. Incumbent Sheryl M. Williams-Stapleton (D) defeated Cara A. Valente-Compton in the Democratic primary. She was defeated by Williams-Stepleton in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
