Biography

Erik Powery was born in The Bronx in New York City, NY. He earned a high school diploma from Amityville Memorial High School and attended Nassau Community College and Norfolk State University for undergraduate study. Powery's career experience includes working as an entrepreneur and in the sales and banking industries.[1][2]

If you are rich or finacially comfortable, congratulations. If you are poor and hungry, I will bulid a coalition of caring human beings to fix this. We are a great nation, but we have failed many Americans and immigrants who are looking for Us to be a beacon of hope. I will rebuild our failing schools from within, and fromwithout. I will not only upgrade Vocational Public Education, but Iwill expand the vocations offered in order for our youth to be job ready upon graduation. I will reduce murder rate by 75%. I will insire our youth. And, I will appoint a Youth Mayor, Youth Director of Public Safety, Youth Chief of Staff, and Youth Peacekeeper. I am a visionary. And I will personally mentor these youth to be the howngrown "Leaders of The New School" in Batiomore. I will pay them $20 per hours. What I ask in return from my youth cabinet is to be good examples. To love ❤️ thy neighbor. To be aspirational figures to the youth community of Baltimore City. And to sign a pledge to raise a family in Batimore City. I will upgrade Enoch Pratt Public Library. New state of the art computers. And expand hours and services. We will make public school a safe place especially for children who suffer from dysfunction in the home. School will be open 7 to 7. With upgraded technology and repaired HVAC systems. Good teachers will receive 3% annual raises."

I will call Adam Silver, Commissioner of The National Basketball 🏀 Association. I will show him the analytics and density of our population. Mr. Silver will grant us an expansion basketball franchise called the "Baltimore City Charm". We will construct a state of the art, 20,000 seat, digital arena with international fan engagement. This will create thousands of high wage, union protected jobs. This will make all Baltimoreans extremely proud. We will build "Bmore Beautiful Arena" between Franklin & Mulberry
Monroe & Fulton . And we will have full service gas station that will employ all our precious "Squeegee Kids" Reducing crime by 75%. But you say: "how is this possible Erik?" Great question oohwee I thought you would never ask me! We will demolish the largest enconomy in poor neighhorhoods. The "Controlled Substance Economy". This economy is a stain that has reinforced redlining in our communities. Where there are no users, there are no pushers. Any Baltomorean who wants to get escape the shackles of drug addiction. We will INVEST 45 days of inpatient drug counseling to our neighbors, friends, and family. We will exhort Gang Leaders to put down their weapons and come out of the shadows. Drugs dealers have thanked me for listening 👂 to them and not brow beating them to death about how evil they are. Believe this, they desire to leave their criminal enterprise and earn an honest living. They want to regain the respect of their loved ones and live with honor & dignity.

Here lies Erik Powery. This is why you have medicaid for all and a $33 per hour minimum wage. Mayor Powery brought the "Baltimore City Charm" & " Bmore Beautiful Arena" to Baltimore City.
When my parents piled all 5 of us into our green Lincoln Continental. And we drove from East Massapequq/Amityville, all the way down to Washington DC to take pictures of the White House in 1983.
7-Eleven. I was a grocery stocker afterschool. I made slurpees and coffee. I stocked all refrigerated beverages. And made sure you also had fresh coca-cola. I also ran register if someone called 📞 in sick.
"The Big Payback" by Dan Charnas and "Sing To Me" by L.A. Reid .... learned alot from those two writers.
Treating residents with the same care, concern, dignity, and respect, that I do with my immediate family & inner circle of friends and confidants.
Saving lives by any any means necessary and also fostering an environment where all Baltimoreans will enjoy a fullfilling career in order for the pursuit of happiness to a happy ending.
The history , the potential, the historical landmarks, and most of all, the rowhomes.
Crime reduction, increasing population density, and cultivating goowill between indigenous Batimoreans and the new white residents.
Teamwork makes the dream work. All hands on deck. No cancerous attitudes or selfish, narcissistic behavior will be tolerated. You will be called to the carpet.
