Erik Thorson
Erik Thorson (formerly Sara Agne) is a judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He assumed office in 2018. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Thorson (formerly Sara Agne) ran for re-election for judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Thorson was appointed by Gov. Doug Ducey (R) on January 3, 2018.[1] Thorson transitioned from a woman to a man.
Biography
Erik Thorson received a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to Thorson's judicial appointment, Thorson was a partner in the special litigation and compliance practice group at Snell & Wilmer. Thorson's professional experience also includes working as a journalist.[1]
