Erika Beltran
Erika Beltran is a former member of the Texas State Board of Education representing District 13. A Democrat, Beltran was first elected in 2014.
Biography
As of November 2017, Beltran was the Tarrant County director of Leadership ISD. Prior to that, she was a senior education policy analyst at the National Council of La Raza. Beltran had previously been a fellow at the David and Lucille Packard Foundation. Prior to that, she spent three years teaching bilingual elementary classes in Houston with Teach for America.[1]
