I am excited to announce that I am running for District Court Judge for Seat 10 in Forsyth County and I am truly thankful for the outpouring of bipartisan support that I have received.

For the past 25 years, I have had the honor and pleasure of representing residents in Forsyth County and surrounding counties in family law and criminal law matters. My extensive experience has allowed me to advocate for my clients in matters of every type in a variety of District Court courtrooms. As a judge, I will treat all parties appearing before me with respect, compassion, and equal application of the law. I believe in the Golden Rule – treat others as you wish to be treated.

There is no other level of court that touches every aspect of your life in the way that District Court does. Family law matters of child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony, juvenile court, and civil domestic violence matters are exclusively handled in district court. The misdemeanor traffic matters, criminal domestic violence matters, and other misdemeanor matters are also handled in district court at the initial trial level.

I am the only candidate with extensive experience representing clients in both family law and criminal law matters. Let me put my 25 years of experience to work for you!
  • I am uniquely qualified to represent you as your next District Court Judge. I am the only candidate with 25 years of extensive experience in both family law and criminal law matters. Your family and your rights matter to me and you deserve a judge with experience, compassion and a dedication to the law. Experience matters.
  • On January 1, 2006, I opened my law practice, ERIN BROCK P.C., and I have owned and operated my business for the past 18 years. Being a business owner and employer certainly gives me additional perspective and insight, as well as a weird love of math and spreadsheets. Whether you are in court on issues of spousal support, child support, or the value of a business, you want that person in the black robe to understand deductions, depreciation, business valuations and gross income/ordinary business income. I have that understanding and experience as an attorney with 25 years of district court trial experience and with 18 years of owning my law practice.
  • While my law practice has concentrated on family law matters for many years, I work closely with the district attorney’s office and the criminal defense bar as there is frequently an intersection between family law and criminal law. I want to serve our community. I want to help our community and our families. Experience and knowledge of the law keeps our families safe. Experience and knowledge of the law assist families in crisis.
Nothing is more important in our lives than our families and our children. I truly believe that my 25 years of experience in civil and criminal cases is what is needed to serve our community and our families. You deserve a judge who is experienced, compassionate and dedicated to the law. You deserve a judge who is fair and impartial. I am that person. You will be heard.
Experience, dedication to the law, and compassion are the core traits that a District Court Judge must embody and embrace. District Court Judges make decisions impacting your individual rights and your family. Your family and your rights matter to me. I will put my 25 years of experience and knowledge of the law to work for you.
District Court is the Peoples’ Court. There is no other level of court that touches every aspect of your life in the way that District Court does. Two thirds of the district court courtrooms are family law in nature. The United States Constitution, the North Carolina Constitution, and the applicable case law protect and affect not only persons charged with a crime but they protect and affect your rights as a parent, your rights as a victim of crime, your rights as a business owner, your rights in child custody matters, and your rights in divorce and equitable proceedings. You deserve a judge with knowledge of those rights and the law.
I am uniquely qualified to represent you as your next District Court Judge. I am the only candidate with extensive experience in both family law and criminal law matters. Your family and your rights matter to me and you deserve a judge with experience, compassion and a dedication to the law. Experience matters.
I want to be remembered as a judge that protected the rights of individuals and helped families in times of crisis.
The fair and equal application of the law to the facts.
Yes. District Court Judges handle cases involving individuals and families in crisis. All litigants deserve respect, compassion, and the knowledgeable and equal application of the law.
I want to serve the individuals and families in our community. For the past 25 years, I have been honored to advocate in district court for my clients and their families. Now I want to serve our community in a different way by putting my experience, knowledge of the law, and compassion to work for all.
