Erin Nowell
Erin Nowell (Democratic Party) is running for election for judge of the Dallas County Court at Law No. 1 in Texas. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 3, 2026. She advanced from the Democratic primary on March 3, 2026.
Nowell (Democratic Party) was a judge for Place 5 of the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. She assumed office on January 1, 2019. She left office on December 31, 2024.
Biography
Erin Nowell graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 1996. She earned a B.A. in English from Wake Forest University in 2000 and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2003. Nowell’s career experience includes working as an attorney with Baron & Budd, Jones Day, Kelley Witherspoon LLP, and Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett, PC.[1][2]
