Erin Nowell (Democratic Party) was a judge for Place 5 of the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. She assumed office on January 1, 2019. She left office on December 31, 2024.
Nowell (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Place 5 judge of the Texas Fifth District Court of Appeals. She lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Erin Nowell graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 1996. She earned a B.A. in English from Wake Forest University in 2000 and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2003. Nowell’s career experience includes working as an attorney with Baron & Budd, Jones Day, Kelley Witherspoon LLP, and Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett, PC.[1][2]
