Erin Stewart (Republican Party) ran for election for Lieutenant Governor of Connecticut. She lost in the Republican primary on August 14, 2018.
Stewart initially filed to run as a 2018 Republican candidate for governor of Connecticut, but she withdrew in order to run for lieutenant governor.[1][2]
