Erin Turmelle is the New Hampshire state director for Cory Booker's (D) 2020 presidential campaign. Before joining Booker's campaign in February 2019, Turmelle worked as the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign director in the 2018 midterm elections. She also served as a regional organizing director on Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.[1][2]
Career
Turmelle worked as the strategic partnerships program coordinator at the Sierra Club from 2011 to 2014. In July 2014, she became a regional field director for the Democratic Party of New Hampshire, hiring, training, and managing a team of 11 individuals in three field offices.[1]
Turmelle joined Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign in 2015 as a regional organizing director. In April 2016, she left Clinton's campaign to work as a deputy organizing director for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.[1]
She returned to the Democratic Party of New Hampshire as a political director from 2017 to 2018 and coordinated campaign director from 2018 until Booker's presidential campaign hired her in February 2019.[2]
Turmelle graduated from the George Washington University with a degree in international affairs and political science in 2010.[1]
