Campaign themes
2012
Bustamante's campaign website listed the following issues:[7]
- Economy
- Excerpt: "JOBS must be a priority. As State Representative, I will work to expand Enterprise Zones and continue to support such policies that create incentives for small businesses to create JOBS."
- Education
- Excerpt: "Unfortunately, the Republican-controlled legislature has made reckless cuts to education & eliminated all-day Kindergarten. We need forward thinking leaders who understand that we must prepare our children to enter a global workforce. That’s why, as State Representative, I helped pass all-day Kindergarten and invested in our universities. "
- Energy
- Excerpt: "Arizona should become the leader in solar and wind technology. Solar environmental policy can be good economic policy and provide jobs to stimulate the economy -- provided such policies do not increase energy costs."
