I am running for McKinney City Council to serve our community and help guide its future. After retiring as CEO of Medical City McKinney, I have the time to commit fully to this role. I have spent years in leadership positions on local boards and commissions, working to address key issues facing our city.

At Medical City McKinney, I was involved in managing budgets and evaluating policies to ensure they supported the hospital’s long-term mission and priorities. I know how important it is to allocate resources efficiently while staying fiscally responsible and ensuring long-term financial stability. Balancing the needs of patients, staff, and the community taught me how to make budget decisions that maximize impact without wasting money. I’ll bring that same experience and mindset to the City Council—making smart budget decisions, using resources wisely, and planning for long-term stability. And just as I valued transparency and stakeholder input at Medical City McKinney, I’ll make sure citizens are informed and involved in the decisions that affect them.

My experience in healthcare leadership and community service has given me the skills to tackle complex challenges, bring people together, and make informed decisions that keep McKinney a great place to live.
  • My top priorities are lowering taxes, driving economic growth, and supporting our first responders. I will leverage my experience with the McKinney Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce to focus on attracting businesses and creating jobs. By prioritizing smart investments and public-private partnerships, we can expand the tax base while easing the financial strain on homeowners. This will ensure McKinney’s fiscal health.
  • Additionally, I will focus on providing our first responders with the necessary resources and support. A successful outcome means a thriving economy, reduced taxes, and a safe community where families can prosper, all supported by well-resourced first responders who help keep McKinney a great place to live and work. I am proud to be endorsed by McKinney Police and Fire Associations.

I’ve led the McKinney Economic Development Corporation and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, helping grow businesses and create jobs. I know that a strong local economy starts with policies that support businesses of all sizes. I believe in cutting red tape, ensuring smart infrastructure investments, and fostering an environment where businesses can thrive. I will always listen to our business leaders and work to create policies that promote economic growth while keeping McKinney’s small-town charm.
One of helping others and making a difference in my community.
McKinney Police and Firefighters Association, County Judge Chris Hill, Constable Matt Carpenter among several current and former council members.
