Errol D. Toulon, Jr.
Errol D. Toulon, Jr. was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 2 of the New York State Senate. He ran for Suffork County Legislature, District 12 in 2009.
Toulon is the owner of Toulon & Associates, a security consulting company. He served 22 years at the New York City Department of Correction, where he was a Captain. He is also a member of the Suffolk County Water Authority. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Dowling College. In 2006, he graduated magna cum laude from Monroe College with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He later earned his MBA from Dowling College. He also has a doctorate in education administration.[1][2][3]

Toulon ran in the 2012 election for New York State Senate District 2. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 13, 2012. Toulon was defeated by incumbent John J. Flanagan (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[5][6][7][8]
