Erv Nelson (Republican Party) was a member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 5. Nelson assumed office on February 2, 2015. Nelson left office on February 10, 2016.
Nelson ran for election for the Seat D judge of the Nevada Supreme Court. Nelson lost in the primary on June 9, 2020.

Jerri Strasser ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Erv Nelson defeated Troy Archer, Barry Keller, Max Miller-Hooks and Stuart Tener in the Republican primary.
