An Euclid City School District Levy Increase measure was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Cuyahoga County, which is in Ohio, where the vote was too close to call.
If approved, this measure would have authorized a levy of $5.4 million which and an estimated 9 mills for each one dollar valuation (90 cents per $100 assessed valuation) for ten years to pay for the emergency requirements of the Euclid City School District. [1]

| “ | Shall a levy be imposed by the Euclid City School District for the purpose of providing for the emergency requirements of the school district in the sum of $5,400,000 and a levy of taxes to be made outside the ten-mill limitation estimated by the fiscal officer to average 9 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to 90 cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of ten years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013?[1][2] | ” |
