Biography
Eugene Anagnos was born in Kefalovriso, Greece. Anagnos served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He earned an undergraduate degree in English literature and anthropology from Indiana University in 1977. He attended Saint Peter's University for graduate study. Anagnos' career experience includes working as a middle school teacher. His professional credentials include graduating from the Defense Information School.[1]

I arrived on Ellis Island as 14mth old baby after communist civil war in Greece. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971 & grew up in Northwest IN in steel mill town of East Chicago, IN where I grew up in a predominately minority community of legal immigrants & large Black population.
I subsequently relocated to NJ in 1984 & taught in Newark & Elizabeth for over 25 years. With Latino in-laws from Puerto Rico & Cuba along with being a member of the Black History committees having written the lyrics, melodies, & performed for Black History month; I believe I am the only Republican candidate who can draw from Sen Booker's base. I speak fluent Greek, quite a bit of Spanish & taught Lang Arts & Mathematics.
Peruse at your leisure my profile & positions at run1.com. I will not distance myself from the President as I am one of his staunch supporters & hope to assist him in Washington while I represent the good citizens of NJ.

I am a firm believer 2nd amend merely an extension of the 'natural or God given right' to protect yourself & your offspring; no different than a cave dweller lifting a rock or a bone against a wild animal. Purpose is to be a great 'equalizer' in defense & to prevent any rogue govt from committing what has happened throughout History when citizens are disarmed: Mass incarceration & genocide on huge scales.
Ask good people in Venezuela or Hong Kong or Iran how they feel about not being able to defend themselves against their oppressive regimes. What happened in Germany, Soviet Union, & China must never be allowed to happen here under any circumstances.I am an immigrant & I believe immigration is the lifeblood of this nation, but it has to be LEGAL IMMIGRATION. It is not reasonable to assume it would be productive to roundup illegals, but certainly ridding ourselves of criminals through ICE & more importantly building a necessary border along with reforming immigration laws necessary for survival.
Planned Parenthood was theoretically begun prevent back alley abortions, but it has morphed into a profitable company subsidized by taxpayers as a handy funnel for the Party of Criminality in promoting & advertising their candidates while it continues commit genocide on the minority population & dealing in selling of body parts. It is tantamount to legalized murder to allow this barbaric institution to continue.
I look up to my mother who recently passed away 3 months shy of 101 & had her complete faculties even on her death bed & gave birth to 9 children; first 5 in hillsides of Greece; including me; without a doctor. Having gone through WW 2 & the communist civil war in Greece still managed to come along with her husband to a new life in America & who repeatedly told me a story upon arrival on Ellis Island which has resonated with me a lifetime & our whole family has tried to live up to accordingly.
She said they were separating families if anyone looked remotely ill & she was terrified they would send her back with the children & leave only my father to work in America as they were doing to many arrivals.I have tried to repay that act of kindness ever since that set my brothers & I & our children on to the current path of judging people only based on their ideology. God bless her & her offspring for that act of kindness to a war weary immigrant & her family!
She specifically said, 'Mia mavri yineka'; which translates to 'A black woman' approached her & her fear of the unknown was that this woman would take her baby & all she would ever remember is that Black woman handed her a blanket & said "for your baby, ma'am": My mother & I had a first hand look at the soul of America.
Read Socrates, Plato, & Aristotle & Shakespeare's Hamlet, Macbeth, & Othello along with realizing that capitalism despite any drawbacks has lifted more people out of poverty than any form of govt on earth.
It is based on the one 'true freedom' any society can grant itself: ECONOMIC. If an individual is worried about food & shelter; all other freedoms are just an illusion usually perpetrated by those who possess economic freedom. Also read economist Adam Smith's work on the concept of capitalism.
Need to exude patience or you become a patient. Amiability, but a steadfast resolve in realizing you are a servant of the people & the people are not your indentured servants or economic slaves doing your bidding!
Ability to communicate & amiability; along with erudition skills in oral & written articulation honed over many years as an avid reader & teacher coupled with performing in Black History month; writing & creating lyrics, melodies & singing etc.
I am a writer, songwriter & performer as well having sung national anthem at NJIT hockey games at the Prudential Center practice rink during their games over the past few years. Not intimidated by crowds, pressure, or circumstance!
Not into self aggrandizement; merely answering the question to the best of my ability!
Utilize whatever lifelong skills of experience & genetic talent you might have to make sure you remember you are doing the bidding of the vast majority of the American people & it is your obligation to maintain personal discipline free from corruption, lack of integrity & decency in serving their needs.
Not interested in legacies, but merely doing what Ben Franklin suggested: 'If you don't leave anything for posterity & contribution to enhancing human existence; what was your purpose in existence?' Just a summary of what he believed in, but I just want to contribute something for my children & posterity.

Sounds absurd, but I reflect on tunes I've written that few ever hear; including Let the Freedom Ring, Black History, Across the Waters, Turnpike Underground, etc.
All life is a struggle: Doubt if any road worth traveling doesn't have obstacles in your path. Life & death are literally inches apart just as freedom & slavery & individual liberty are an integral part of the sacrifices & constant struggle needed to prosper & lead lives of faith & humility!
Preventing the leftist indoctrination of our greatest natural resource 'our children' by going back into the curriculum & making sure Jeffersonian ideals consisting 'of, by & for the people are being taught & the importance of self governing & the responsibilities it entails along with stopping the revisionist History implying America is the evil behind the planet's cultural existence. America is the last great hope of a free people & maintaining individual liberty.
I prefer the Senate because it makes judicial appointments which are paramount in interpreting the Constitution along with the fact that there are only 2 Senators per state & much better to navigate in representing the people of the United States.
Debatable issue, but more importantly; having integrity along with amiability coupled with oral & written articulation skills in order to serve the people who elected them seems a higher priority!
If it is James Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington easy to embrace, but if used as continuous weapon to prevent govt from functioning it can be counterproductive!
I would not trace their actions back to 2nd grade, but rather their commitment to what is being offered along with their overall integrity; including the fact of the President's judgement in the necessity of assisting him in performing his duties.

Amiability on all levels in society is paramount, but completely compromising your principles can't be sacrificed as an 'absolute' when doing the people's work in govt.
True measure of success in life is not economic prowess, but rather it has to do with enhancing the lives of others even for a brief moment of interaction where they feel better about themselves having crossed paths with you.

Whatever position is best suited to my talents based on erudition skills in oral & written articulation coupled with necessity; will be addressed when I defeat Sen Booker given the opportunity by the good citizens of NJ to be the nominee of the Republican Party!
Whatever position I take will be contingent on benefiting the people of NJ & by inference the people of this great Nation.
I prefer to set my own path, but any Senator who was & is free of corruption & maintains a semblance of honesty, decency, integrity & honor: I would be happy to emulate!
