Eugene Farrell - Hard working family man from rural Warren County in Western Illinois. I previously held the position of Committee Membeman in Warren County. I have been active with the Republican party for over 20 years. I served my country proudly in the Army for 8 years and a disabled veteran. I am actively in my community and considered a great neighbor.

My focus is to bring great Government jobs to District 17. I plan to cap student loan interest rates at 10% to keep higher education affordable. I will also present a plan to allow disabled veterans to continue to serve (if they are eligible) and be able to collect BOTH their VA disability and their drill pay. Currently, veterans have to choose between them.

Government Contracting - job creation

Our broken Educational system

Expanding benefits for veterans and their families

Fully funding grade schools
The US House represents the voters best interests. This has been over looked for several years now. Millions of dollars has been wasted that should have been spent on schools, and roads. I plan to end the wasteful spending and get to work solving America's problems.
Our economy - we need great jobs. Our economy is far better today than 5 years ago. However, more needs to be done.

We must be able to protect our family and our borders.

We need an immigration policy that is Fair.
