Eugene Gordon
Eugene Andrew Gordon (1917-2002) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.[1]
Gordon was nominated by President Lyndon Johnson on April 30, 1964, to a seat vacated by Lunsford Preyer; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 27, 1964, and received commission on June 9. He served as chief judge from 1971 until assuming senior status on July 12, 1982. He served until his death on May 4, 2002.[1] Gordon was succeeded in this position by Frank Bullock.
