My Name is Eugene Michael Pawley III. Born in Norfolk Virginia in 1992. I come from a military family and I am prior US military myself. I served in the USAF from 2011-2021. I was medically discharged after suffering injuries in a convoy rollover. I have a degree in Engineering and currently working on a degree in political science with a minor in philosophy. I am married to Vanessa Corpuz Pawley. A Immigrated from the Philippines who I met while serving overseas. I have two kids a son Eugene Michael Corpuz Pawley IV and a daughter Ysabellah Jeanne Corpuz Pawley. I want to serve my country and it’s people even after leaving the military that’s why I am running.
  • Vox Populi- I want to be the voice of the people forgotten by the government. To many people are not represented by their government.
  • Inflation and rising cost - I wish to curtail a lot of the rising cost of necessities in Nevada so Nevadas can afforded to stay here
  • Education - Nevada ranks 49th in education. Children are the future of this country and we must give them the tools to be successful or else our whole country suffers.
I am passionate about public policies concerning education reform, water and land conservation, curtailing inflation and Cost of Living, safety and security, and issues effecting the common people who are just trying to live their lives.
Being a Byzantine Catholic I look up to Jesus and the saints Specifically St Joan of Arc who I named my Daughter after. They both died for deeply held beliefs and putting others before themselves. Politically I look up toe JFK and Teddy Roosevelt. They were great presidents who did a lot for the common people of this country both domestically and internationally. Historically I look up to Saint Constantine the Great. Roman emperor who managed to hold the empire together managed Administrative and Monetary reforms and end the crisis of the third century. The city he founded Constantinople (now Istanbul) still stands to this day. Family wise I look up to my father. He raised me the best he could. Giving me what he could and instilling plenty of the values I have to this day.
The Federalist papers, - Alexander Hamilton

On the republic, on the laws - Cicero

Meditations - Marcus Aurelius
I think the most important value of a elected official is selflessness. One must put the needs of others above themselves if they wish to be a public servant. Once elected it’s no longer about you but the American people.
Selfless, I care for the common person,

Courage, I will do what’s right even if other politicians are against me
Temperance, I will hold things in moderation and keep a clear head when making decisions
Truthfulness, I will strive to tell the truth to the American people.

Justice, I will always seek fairness and lawfulness
Putting the needs of the people first. Taking care of them and doing what they ask.
I want to leave the country in a better position to succeed for my children and the American people long after I’m gone.
My first job was washing car for Carspa in Jacksonville Florida. I held it for year while I was in highschool.
There are so many but if I had to narrow it down it’s the classics. There is something about reading books like Homers the Illad or Sun Tzus the art of war. It’s like peering into the past and hearing stories from our ancestors. I especially like listing to audio books of them. It’s like they are telling you the story in person of you get a good audio reader.
Batman always pick Batman when given the choice
Masson. - When I was Young (ft Maberry)
I’m not sure how to answer this question. For example of you are asking for major character flaws. Years ago I had an drinking problem but now I’ve been sober for years. Drinking is a huge problem for the military in general. But now most of my large problems I have had I’ve overcame. Now I suffer the same problems as many Americans. Inflation problems, were to put my kids to get a good education as examples. My problems now are not internal but external in this regard.
Yes, a balance of power and working together can often lead to state prosperity. Often when one group oversteps it’s bounds it leads to internal strife and infighting.
For Nevada, Inflation and Water conservation. Las Vegas is seeing rising costs as more and more Americans move in. This is creating a problem for local Nevadas who can no longer afford to live here. Secondly Lake mead which provides most of the states water is slowly being drained and needs new solutions to fix it before Las Vegas can no longer be habitable.
No, plenty of career politicians get to disconnected from the American people that they no longer know what their needs are. Often times the best politicians come from the common folk.
Yes, things can not be done alone and we need to work together or else our state and country stays stagnate.
I would like to eventually get to US Congress and be the voice of Americans on a federal level. Many Americans not just in Nevada but country wide are forgotten by politicians who’ve been disconnected from them for so long.
I’ve heard the story of a single person who once was able to live in an apartment with a single job now paying the same price as a house mortgage and now having to work two jobs in order to make a living. This kind of inflation needs to stop.
What’s the best thing about Switzerland? I don’t know but the flag is a big plus.
Yes, the more we fight with each other in this country. The more other countries will overtake us on the world stage and the more we stagnate and get nowhere. Plenty of the policies that will help the common American are neither fully right or left but often times in the middle.
