Eunkyong Choi
Eunkyong Choi was an Article I special trial judge for the United States Tax Court. She was appointed on December 6, 2021. Choi retired from the court in 2023.[1][2]
The United States Tax Court is an Article I federal trial court established by Congress under Article I of the U.S. Constitution, Section 8 of which provides (in part) that the Congress has the power to "constitute Tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court."

Biography
Education
Choi earned a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in political science from the University of Akron. She earned a J.D. and master of laws in taxation from the Washington University School of Law.[2]
Professional career
Choi's career experience includes working as a teacher of ethics and media with Sanford Brown College, as a lecturer in law with the Washington University School of Law, as a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) program director with Nevada Legal Services from 2010 to 2014, as a supervising attorney with the Washington University LITC from 2014 to 2016, and as a taxpayer advocate with the New York City Department of Finance from 2016 to 2021.[2]
