Evaluation of Hawaii school district websites (2010-2013)

Sunshine Review contributors conducted a study of Hawaii school district websites from 2010 to 2013.

They researched to determine what type of information is available to the general public on these websites. The following page provides a snapshot of what they learned in the course of this research. Hawaii consists of one statewide school district run by the State Department of Education.

Hawaii doesn't have local school districts. All schools fall under the State Department of Education. In 2012, the Department of Education website was evaluated and earned a "C+" website transparency grade.
