Sunshine Review contributors conducted a study of South Carolina school district websites from 2010 to 2013.
They researched to determine what type of information is available to the general public on these websites. The following page provides a snapshot of what they learned in the course of this research.

2012
In June of 2012, Sunshine Review re-evaluated the ten largest school districts in the state and found they averaged a "C+" website transparency grade. The ten districts were: Greenville County School District, Charleston County School District, Horry School District, Richland 1, Berkeley School District, Aiken School District, Richland 2, Lexington 1, Beaufort County School District, and Dorchester 2.
