Sunshine Review contributors conducted a study of Washington school district websites from 2010 to 2013.

They researched to determine what type of information is available to the general public on these websites. The following page provides a snapshot of what they learned in the course of this research.

Conclusions chart

2012

In July of 2012, Sunshine Review evaluated the ten largest school districts in Washington: Seattle School District, Tacoma School District, Spokane School District, Kent School District, Lake Washington School District, Federal Way School District, Edmonds School District, Vancouver School District, Evergreen School District, and Northshore School District. The average website transparency grade for these districts was a B-. The details of the analysis are listed in the chart below.
