I am a proud life long Euclidean, first and foremost! I am a proud graduate of Euclid High School, class of 2019. I additionally attended George Mason University, and graduated in 2022. One of my proudest accomplishments came in 2018 when my best friend, Harrison McCreight, and I co-designed a new city flag of Euclid, which was passed by City Council unanimously. I am incredibly proud to live in both Ohio, and the city of Euclid more specifically. I will always advocate for my state and city every moment I can.
  • Support the District: Provide critical support to teachers, parents, and students in all aspects by advocating for policies at the local and state level that have their best interest at the forefront.
  • Increase Communication: Provide vital information to parents, students, and community members through collaboration with the school system and the school board to establish vital channels of communication.
  • Community Investment: Work together with community members and local organizations with the active goal of enriching our school system and our community on all levels for the betterment of Euclid’s children.
I am incredibly passionate about the realm of public education. I believe that it is a great boon to our society: it ensures that everyone in our society, no matter their background, can receive a quality education. Aside from public education, I am greatly dedicated to the fight against food insecurity. In college, I briefly studied the background and effects of food insecurity, which led to me taking a job at the college’s food pantry. These opportunities taught me a great deal, and it is something that I hope to continue researching and advocating for in the future.
Humility, kindness, and respect. The best elected official is one who can interact with their constituents in a thoughtful and effective manner. It is important to remember that the job of an elected official is to serve the public in a selfless manner, and not to serve oneself.
It is my hope that I can leave a legacy of constantly working to uplift the people around me.
I remember the election of Barack Obama as President in 2008. I would have been 7 years old at the time, but I very vividly remember how excited everyone around me was.
Sovietistan by Erika Fatland. Aside from it being the book that got me back into the habit of reading, it does a great job of discussing and telling the rich stories of the countries of Central Asia. It does an excellent job of explaining how Russian/Soviet influence has affected the region and its cultures. I highly recommend it!
The primary job of a school board member is to work to ensure that the school district is strong and prosperous. This is done through the appointment and advising of a suitable superintendent, through constant communication with the constituents of the district, and through constant advocacy to other local and state leaders.
My constituents are everyone involved in the Euclid School District. Whether that be the residents, students, or staff of the school district. It is my hope that, if elected, I may be able to help provide a strong district that lives up to the hopes and wishes of these constituents.
It is my hope to host “town hall” meetings to ensure that our community is constantly updated about the school district. Through these meetings, as well as through outreaches through digital and paper media, it is my hope that Euclid can have a fully informed city on the goings-on of the school system.
State Senator Kent Smith, State Representative Elliot Forhan, Cuyahoga County Councilwoman Sunny Simon, Mayor Kirsten Holzheimer-Gail, Euclid City Council President Charlene Mancuso, Euclid Ward 2 Councilman Richard Tolton, North Shore AFL-CIO
