Evan Rosborough is a young professional who is passionate about giving a voice to all Ohioans, including the underrepresented demographic of young people. He believes that the state legislature needs the diverse viewpoint that a younger person can provide. He also believes if we want to promote opportunities for people of all ages and keep them in our communities, we need people of all ages to be involved in the legislative process.

Evan was raised in Lake County where he attended Riverside Local Schools. At 18 years old, Evan bought his first home where he still lives today with his dog Miley. At the same time, he accepted a scholarship to Lake Erie College where he was a member and captain of the wrestling team, the student-athlete representative in student government, a new student orientation leader, and an admissions worker/tour guide for the college. After graduating from Lake Erie College, Evan had the opportunity to travel abroad and spend a brief time living in Colorado, where he was able to see how other peoples and other governments operate, before returning home. He currently heads business development for a tech company specializing in healthcare.

Through Evan’s life experiences he has gained an understanding of what Lake County does well and where improvements can be made. He plans to work tirelessly to promote opportunities for current and future generations to be able to thrive in the community that has provided so much for him and his family.
  • Investing in our communities
  • Focusing on education and preparing our kids for the 21st century workforce
  • Protecting our natural environment and promoting renewable energy
As a resident of Lake County, I've learned how important it is to invest in our communities, giving them the ability to build a strong foundation for sustainable and smart growth. That will be a priority for me in the State House. I'm also passionate about preserving and enhancing our natural environment. I want our children to grow up with clean air, clean water, and a climate in balance to enable them to reach their maximum potential.
