Evan S. Roberts was a judge for the Elkhart County Superior Court in Indiana. He was appointed to the court in 2005 and elected to a full term in 2008 and 2014.[1][2] Roberts passed away on November 11, 2017.[3]

Roberts ran for re-election to the Elkhart County Superior Court.
Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014.

Education

Roberts received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School.[5]

Career

Prior to his judicial appointment, Roberts was an attorney in private practice. He also served part-time as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Elkhart County.[1]

Military service

Roberts was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve, and previously served in active duty. He also taught at the Naval Justice School in Newport, RI.[1]
