Evelio Otero Jr. was a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 14th Congressional District of Florida. Otero defeated Eddie Adams, Jr. in the Republican primary on August 14, 2012.[1] He was defeated by Kathy Castor on November 6, 2012.[2]

Otero was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico.[3]

Career
Otero is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force.[3]
