Evelyn J. Lynn (b. February 2, 1930) is a former Republican member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 7 from 2002 to 2012. She served as City Commissioner of Ormond Beach from 1991 to 1994 and in the Florida House of Representatives from 1994 to 2002.

Biography

Lynn earned her B.A. from Queens College in 1950, her M.A. from Stetson University in 1969 and her Ed.D. from the University of Florida in 1979. Her professional experience includes working as a Personnel Director for Miller and Sons and Beth Israel Hospital from 1950 to 1962, Teacher and Assistant Superintendent for Volusia County Schools from 1962 to 1989, Adjunct/Visiting Professor at Nova University and Stetson University from 1979 to 1990 and consultant.
