Ezekiel Turner
Ezekiel Turner (1825-1888) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
He received a recess appointment from President Rutherford B. Hayes on November 18, 1880 and was nominated on December 14th. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 20, 1880, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on June 2, 1888.[1] Turner was succeeded in this position by Thomas Sheldon Maxey.
