F. Daniel Petro is an at-large member of the Township High School District 214 Board of Education in Illinois. He was first elected to the board in April 2011.[1]

Petro ran for re-election in the general election on April 7, 2015.[2] He successfully won another term on the board.[3]

Petro is an attorney and works at his own firm, Petro Law Firm. He has served as a leader in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, as a soccer and basketball coach and as a member of the Rotary Club. Petro earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and his juris doctorate from John Marshall Law School. He and his wife have six children who either currently attend or have graduated from the Township High School District 214.[1]
