F. William Cullins

F. William Cullins is the chief judge for the Fourteenth Judicial District in Kansas. He was appointed to the court by Governor Kathleen Sebelius in 2006.[1] He was appointed chief judge in January 2015 following the retirement of Chief Judge Roger Gossard.[2]
He was suspended from the bench for one year effective beginning February 26, 2021 by the Kansas Supreme Court which found that Cullins had violated the Kansas Code of Judicial Conduct.[3][4]

Cullins was re-elected to the district court with 100 percent of the vote in 2010.[6]

Education
Cullins received his undergraduate degree from Emporia State University and his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.[7]
Career
Prior to his elevation to the bench in 2006, Cullins was the prosecutor for the City of Coffeyville. He previously worked in private practice and as the Montgomery County attorney and assistant Montgomery County attorney.[1]
