|I served as an 1199 Member and Organizer, learning the importance of advocating for families and children. For six years, I served as a Deputy Chief of Staff in the City Council, assisting with key legislative pieces while facilitating the districts portion and allocation of NYC's nearly $88.9B budget. In addition, I was a resource and voice for constituents navigating bureaucratic systems and created opportunities for City Government to be more inclusive.
I learned how good leadership should prioritize the well being, dignity and concerns for those who have unmet needs.
Vote for me your next City Council Member on November 5th as we build a Unified 45.
- Housing: affordable housing availability; preference for district residents; ensuring zoning is not used to displace residents and change neighborhood character
- Education: infrastructure spending to repair, maintain and renovate schools for children
- Economic Development: Job creation and expand MWBE participation and economic inclusion
