Farmington City Sales Tax Implementation Measures, 2 (November 2011)
Two Farmington City Sales Tax Implementation Measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Farmington which is in St. Francois County.
Both measures were approved
The first measure sought to implement a sales tax set at a rate of .25 percent for a period of ten years in order to pay for transportation costs in the city.
The second measure sought to implement another sales tax also set at a rate of .25 percent for a period of ten years in order to pay for storm water control costs and local park maintenance costs in the city.[1]
