I am a sixth-generation Biloxian raising the seventh, deeply rooted in the history and future of this city. My family has served Biloxi for generations—my great-great-grandfather was Biloxi’s police chief, my great-grandfather was assistant fire chief, and my great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather were oystermen who recovered the colonial cannons now displayed in Guice Park from a sunken ship in the Biloxi Bay. I am not a politician—I’m a mother, a mentor, and a fighter. I’ve battled addiction, depression, and uterine cancer, and those struggles have shaped me into someone who doesn’t back down from a challenge. I believe government should work for the people—not the other way around. As a scouting leader and community volunteer, I’ve worked hands-on to improve our city through beach cleanups, conservation efforts, food and pet supply drives, and veteran support initiatives. But we need real change. I want Biloxi to be a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and our local government puts its residents first. I believe in education reform, homelessness solutions that focus on mental health, protecting our natural resources, and supporting local businesses. I’m running for mayor because Biloxi deserves leadership that listens, fights for real solutions, and never forgets who it works for—the people.
- We have to change our public education system. It is grossly failing our children. In addition to calling for school reform, when elected, I will open a minimum of two micro schools every 18 months. The nonprofit, Libertarians For Learning, has agreed to match my efforts. That will bring 4 micro schools to Biloxi children every 18 months under my leadership with zero tax dollars!
- I believe in small businesses! This city was built on entrepreneurs like our oystermen. As a Biloxi resident and descendant of oystermen and entrepreneurs, I will proudly fight for them and ensure their rights! No leases on our reefs that disguises profit for "sustainability". No running out small businesses. No destruction of our natural resources. Biloxi has a deep history that is full of tradition and I want to protect them, our residents, and our natural resources (such as our fishing industry and historic oaks) that all make up our unique City. I will not choose profit over Biloxi!
- The homeless crisis in Biloxi has not been handled as it should. That’s why I’ve partnered with a Biloxi landowner, local charities, and medical professionals to take real action. We have a plan in place to build homes, provide revolutionary addiction rehabilitation, offer medical care, and help people get back on their feet—all without using taxpayer dollars. This initiative will be entirely funded by donations and powered by volunteers. It’s amazing what can be accomplished when a community comes together to take care of its own.
I have the leadership skills and experience to be a successful officeholder. I am passionate in my mission to better Biloxi and future generations. I have a deep desire for justice, a calling to lead, and am equally fierce as I am caring.
The woman who gave Biloxi back to the people.
A genuine desire to serve the people and defend their rights and liberty.
To advocate for the people of Biloxi and put their rights, freedoms, and well-being first and foremost.
I am passionate about education reform, homelessness solutions, protecting our natural resources, and supporting local businesses.
I believe in total financial transparency! Government money belongs to the people so any officials who misuse or steal from the people should be removed from office, pay back the funds, and be prosecuted.
Leadership is a form of service. To boldly lead is to boldly serve the people.
So many things. Our history, food, and a true community. All these factors make Biloxi home.
I, like so many, have had many struggles in my life. I would have to say the biggest struggles were my health issues. I overcame addiction. I survived heart failure. I fought ovarian, uterine, and cervical cancer which resulted in many surgeries but I beat it. These experiences that nearly took my life only made me more grateful and incredibly resilient.
My family and I watch the Tuttle Twins cartoon. It is funny, smart, and not just for kids. It breaks down big concepts to where they are easy to understand but never speaks down to its audience.
