Faye M. Koyanagi
Faye M. Koyanagi was a judge of the O`ahu First Circuit District Court of Hawaii. She was sworn in on June 10, 2003, to fill the seat of retired Judge David Fong. Her final term expired on June 9, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Koyanagi earned a B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law. She also has teaching credential from the University of California, Berkeley.[3]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Koyanagi had her own firm, where she was associated with the Fireman's Fund Insurance Companies and acted as an arbitrator and mediator. She has also been employed by Libkuman, Ventura, Ayabe, Chong, & Nishimoto, and the City and County of Honolulu Department of Corporation Counsel and Department of Prosecuting Attorney.[3]
