Southern District of Iowa
On September 10, 2012, Stephanie Rose was confirmed to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa after a vote of 89-1.[1][2] Rose was originally appointed on February 2, 2012 , by Barack Obama to the seat vacated by Robert Pratt. At the time of appointment, Rose was the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa. She was rated Unanimously Well Qualified by the American Bar Association. She had a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 14, 2012 and you can find her Committee Questionnaire available here and her Questions for the Record available here.[3] The confirmation fills the only vacancy on the court of three, lowering the vacancy warning level from Orange to Green.
