In covering every federal election cycle, we will profile all officially filed candidates, major events in both presidential and congressional elections and the issues that the constituents of these candidates and incumbents care about. We fill the void in coverage by not just discussing elections, but also telling the story of what happens after your elected officials take office. In addition to election coverage, our team follows the major actions taken by all three branches of the federal government: Congress, the Executive Branch and the federal courts. While the federal government often feels like a distant entity, the actions of all three branches have ramifications that affect the daily lives of its citizens.
Our mission
Our mission is to illustrate the intersections of the three branches of the federal government: legislative, executive and judicial. In doing so, we will cover the people, policies and elections of our Republic.
