Feland and Grossman advance to general election

North Dakota: Cynthia Feland and Parrell Grossman came out on top in the June 8, 2010 primary election for a South Central Judicial District judgeship. Feland, currently a Burleigh County assistant state’s attorney, received 9,289 votes while Grossman, an Assistant Attorney General, received 5,267. They will face off in the November 2nd general election to replace the retiring Judge Robert O. Wefald. Although she gained a significant lead over her opponent in this primary, Feland stated, "I never take anything for granted." Attorneys Todd Schwarz and Tim Austin were eliminated from the race.[1]
