Biography

Felesia Martin earned an associate degree in office management and supervision from Bryant & Stratton College in 1985 and a bachelor's degree in business and healthcare administration from Lakeland University in 2016. Her career experience includes working as an administrative coordinator at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Martin has worked as a community organizer for the Obama for America campaign.[1][2]

Felesia Martin was raised in the Sherman Park neighborhood in Milwaukee. She is a voting rights and healthcare reform advocate and activist. She is running for re-election to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors for District 7 to continue the work of protecting the employee's pension & benefits, our parks, transit services, aging & disabilities services, and juvenile corrections and justice reform. 


United By A Common Goal

 

As your county supervisor, she has worked collaboratively with the members of the County Board of Supervisors and the County Executive to address some of our greatest challenges which include healthcare disparities and inequities throughout the Milwaukee County system. Felesia works with leaders and residents in the district to improve the quality of our community. She has attended crime and safety meetings, neighborhood association meetings, resource fairs, walks for peace, and have held virtual townhall meetings and listening sessions, including Reimagining Sherman Park, resident budget input meetings, ARPA Overview & Information session with county & state elected officials, as well as a Build Back Better and Infrastructure Plan meeting with Congresswoman Gwen Moore.
