As a working mom of two, I'm running as a Republican for New York City Council in District 22 which includes parts of Astoria, East Elmhurst, Woodside, Jackson Heights and Rikers Island in Queens. I saw a city government that was out of touch with everyday families, and I want to fight for the real needs of my community

I am currently the Chairwoman of the Interfaith Coalition for Peace & Public Safety and a Founding Member of the Lifestyle Lifespan campaign advocating for healthy food access for our most vulnerable communities. She is a former Legislative Aide and a social entrepreneur. I also co-founded a national non-profit, UNCHAINED Fashion Show, and an ethical clothing line, NOVEL, with a mission to end human trafficking. I'm the former V.P. of COhatch, a successful Midwest based company that creates co-working and social enterprise incubator spaces that revitalize local economies.

My vision for Queens is prosperity bringing good paying jobs, a vision that creates a safe and clean city with good schools, a place families can raise children, and a place where all people can thrive regardless of socioeconomic status.
  • Public Safety: Crime is at an all time high and our quality of life is diminishing. We need safe and clean streets- without public safety we have nothing as a community.
  • Support for Kids & Families: Our kids have fallen behind in education and we need to invest in families who have shouldered the burden of the pandemic.
  • Rebuilding Our Economy: We need to bring good paying jobs to New York City, grow and support our small businesses, and incubate start-ups in our district.
Public Safety//

We must support and fully fund the NYPD and build positive community relations with our public safety officers, working together to make improvements to ensure an equitable criminal justice system.

Supporting Small Businesses & Rebuilding our Economy through Innovative Ideas//
We need good paying jobs in Queens and that means partnering with large and small businesses, and we also need to invest in our local economy. We need to provide more access to upward mobility through greater access to resources, education, training, apprenticeships and jobs. We need targeted economic revitalization efforts in Commercial Areas in our Districts, and local Business Sales Tax Free Tuesdays to incentivize shopping local.

Better Quality of Life//

It’s time that we ensure quality of life for all and clean up our sanitation problem once and for all by investing in beautification and sanitation in our neighborhoods. We need to update our outdated trash bins to better contain waste and expand recycling and composting in our district and

Increase fines for individuals that litter and illegally dump.

Kids Over Politics//
I will ensure children and families are TOP priority in the city budget. Queens is the borough with the most overcrowded schools and we must invest in our kids.

Honest Government & Accountability//

Under one-party rule, city agencies have been left unchecked for far too long, providing little results for a 92 billion dollar budget
As a person of deep faith, I look up to Mother Teresa and I had the chance to visit her home and serve in Calcutta, India. Her devotion to her faith mission and her vision for "all to die in dignity" is an inspiring one, and I wish to be even half of the servant leader she was.
I was 9/11, and I remember watching the towers fall, and I was never the same. It created a passion in me to understand the world and current events, and it also became a driving force of studying in the Middle East at the American University in Cairo, Egypt and pursuing counterterrorism classes in college.
I have worked various jobs since the age of 15 growing up in a struggling single mom household. During college, I worked as a Youth Minister at Eastminster Presbyterian Church for 2 years. After college, I became a Legislative Aide under Representative Margaret Conditt and then transitioned to work at the Ohio Board of Regents in Higher Education.

I co-founded a national nonprofit called UNCHAINED and performed artistic fashion shows across the country raising awareness about human trafficking and domestic violence, even performing at the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference.

I transitioned to become the V.P. of COhatch, co-working and social enterprise incubator spaces that serve to help revitalize local economies.
