My name is Felicia Lewis, born and raised in California. I'm a graduate of San Diego State University. As an undergraduate, I was honored to represent the university as a Ronald E. McNair Scholar as well as being selected the Sally Casanova Pre-Doctorial Scholar.
  • Our Voices: This represents the concerns and frustrations residents in San Luis Obispo have with the current City Council. They believe that those in City Hall don't value their opinions. Most importantly, they don't even bother to ask them. My goal is to listen to our constituents and be their voice on the City Council.
  • Our Values: This represents the need of every one in San Luis Obispo to know that their City Council member understands what issues they consider to be important to them, their families, and the neighborhoods they live in,. We may not have the same values, but we're a community that appreciates that we live in a wonderful city like San Luis Obispo.
  • Our Bodies: Each person has a right to do whatever they choose to their body. Personally, I'm Pro-Life, but that doesn't give me the right to tell another woman what to do with her body.
I'm passionate about our current public policies on how we address the needs of our unhoused neighbors.
The most important characteristic of an elected official is trustworthiness. Currently, in the city of San Luis Obispo there is a growing concern that the residents do not trust the elected officials. They're worried that the public officials care more about the wants of powerful lobbyist rather than the practical needs of the citizens who elected them into office.
My very first job was at Taco Bell. I held this job the summer before going off to college. I learned several lessons while working at Taco Bell for those few months. First, the value of earning your own money. Second, I didn't want to have to wear a polyester uniform to work everyday. Lastly, I didn't realize how much my parents loved and provided for me until I had that job.
The 27 people who signed my Nomination Papers.
