Felicia Ortiz
Felicia Ortiz was a member of the Nevada State Board of Education, representing District 3. She assumed office on January 2, 2017. She left office on January 1, 2025.
Ortiz won re-election to the Nevada State Board of Education to represent District 3 outright in the primary on June 9, 2020, after the general election was canceled.
Biography
The operator of a small business, Ortiz has served as president of the Las Vegas chapter of the Association of Latino Professionals for America as well as a member of the Latin Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Ortiz was first appointed to the board in February 2016 by Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) to fill a vacancy opened by the resignation of Allison Serafin.[2]
