A Fenton Area Public School District Bond proposal was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Genesee, Livingston and Oakland Counties, which are in Michigan, where it was defeated.
This measure proposed to authorize the Fenton Area Public School District to issue up to $8,400,000 in general obligation bonds in order to fund partially remodel, refurnish and re-equip school district buildings. The estimated property tax used to pay this debt was 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).[1]
