A Ferguson Reorganized R-II School District Tax Levy, Proposition A ballot question was defeated on the August 6, 2013, election ballot in St. Louis County, which is in Missouri.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the Ferguson Reorganized R-II School District to impose an operating property tax levy of $0.75 per $100 of assessed valuation. This measure would have made the property tax rate of the district $5.49 per $100 of assessed valuation.[1]

Shall the Board of Education of the Ferguson Reorganized R-2 School District, St. Louis County, Missouri be authorized to increase the operating tax levy of the District by $0.75 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation for the purpose of paying general operating expenses of the District? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating levy of the school district per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation is estimated to be $5.49 for residential real property, $5.49 for commercial real property and $5.49 for personal property.[1][2] |
