Fernando Tapia
Fernando Tapia is a former justice of the Bronx County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the 12th Judicial District of New York. He has served in this position since 2010. He has also served on the New York City Criminal Court of New York County since 2003. His last term expired in 2012.[1]

Tapia was elected to the 12th District Supreme Court. He was one of three candidates competing for two seats in the general election on November 6, 2012. He is running on the Democratic Party ticket.[2][3]

Education
Tapia received his J.D. degree from the Dickenson School of Law.[1]
Career
Tapia was elected to the New York City Criminal Court, New York County in 2003. He was then appointed an Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2010.[1]
