The text of the measure reads as follows:
Proposition authorizing regular emergency medical
services property tax levy The Board of Fire Commissioners of Benton County Fire Protection District No. 4 adopted Resolution 2009-12 concerning a proposition to impose an emergency medical services property tax levy. This proposition would authorize the board of commissioners to fund emergency medical services for its citizens by imposing a regular property tax levy of $.50 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation for a period of six consecutive years beginning in 2010 for collection in 2011.
