Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee, Vermont House of Representatives
The Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife Committee is a standing committee of the Vermont House of Representatives.
Per the House Rules, committees of the Vermont House of Representatives are assigned by the Speaker of the House unless otherwise specified by the Vermont Constitution or other state statutes. Committees are assigned at the start of each regular session. The first and secondly named members of each committee are the chair and the vice-chair, respectively. Each committee appoints a clerk from its members at the first meeting. The chair of each committee is responsible for calling meetings, and the clerk keeps a record of committee activity, including bills considered and members' votes, to be delivered to the Secretary of State at the end of each session.[1]
