Five New Jersey Superior Court judges appointed to Appellate Division

Trenton, NJ: New Jersey Chief Justice Stuart Rabner appointed five Superior Court Judges to the state court's Appellate Division on July 3rd. Judges Allison E. Accurso,[1] Michael A. Guadagno,[2] Michael J. Haas,[3] Richard S. Hoffman,[4] and Susan F. Maven[5] will each move up to one of the 32 seats in the Appellate Division effective of August 1st.
Allison Accurso was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Richard Codey in 2005, and is currently serving as the general equity presiding judge in the Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties Vicinage.[1]
Michael Guadagno was also appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Richard Codey in 2005. He is currently serving as presiding judge of the family division in the Monmouth County Vicinage.[2]
Michael Haas was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Jon Corzine in 2007. He is currently part of the criminal division of the Burlington County Vicinage.[3]
Richard Hoffman was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Jim McGreevey in 2004. He is currently part of the civil division of the Gloucester, Cumberland and Salem Counties Vicinage.[4]
Susan Maven was appointed to the Superior Court by Governor Donald DiFrancesco in 2001. She is currently part of the family division of the Atlantic and Cape May Counties Vicinage.[5]
All five judges are noted as having served temporary assignments in the Appellate Division.
