Five candidates seek Probate Court position

Suttons Bay, Michigan: Five candidates are seeking to fill an open position on the Leelanau County Probate Court. The vacancy was created by the unexpected death of Judge Joseph Deegan in July of 2009. Local attorneys Marian F. Kromkowski, Larry J. Nelson, Joseph T. Hubbell, Michael J. Long and Sara W. Brubaker will compete in an August 2010 primary. The two with the most votes will advance to the November election.[1]
