Five measures to appear in the state of Washington, all three initiatives cleared

OLYMPIA, Washington: It's official, a total of five ballot measures will appear on the ballot this November. Two were referred by the Washington State Legislature, while three were proposed by citizens. The measures cover a wide array of topics, including: alcohol, health care, transportation, taxes, state budgets and elections and campaigns.
The third and final initiative to appear on the ballot was certified Monday, August 2, following verification of submitted signatures. Supporters of I-1163 filed an estimated 340,000 signatures, qualifying the measure for a 3 percent random signature check. According to the Washington Secretary of State the measure had a 15.28% error rate and officially qualified for the 2011 ballot.
